Hi, I'm George Ortiz

Robotics Researcher ◇ Queens, NYC

I am a Masters student at CMU, working in the Robomechanics Lab under Professor Aaron Johnson. My research focuses on robot simulation and reinforcement learning, with a particular focus on developing robust control policies for quadruped locomotion.

I recently earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology, where I worked with Professor Kishore Pochiraju on robot manipulator path planning. My experience is listed below, with my projects accessible through the tabs above.
